Colour Crasher - Complete Game Guide
Colour Crasher is an addictive block-crushing puzzle game where you tap groups of matching coloured blocks to clear them from a 10x14 grid. Gravity pulls remaining blocks downward after each crush, creating new combinations and chain opportunities. The n-squared scoring system means patience and planning are rewarded far more than frantic tapping. You have 60 seconds to score as high as you can.
How to Play
The board starts filled with a 10x14 grid of coloured blocks. Tap any block that belongs to a group of 2 or more adjacent same-coloured blocks to crush the entire group. After blocks are removed, gravity pulls everything downward to fill the gaps.
- Tap a group of 2 or more same-coloured adjacent blocks to crush them
- Blocks above fall down after a group is cleared
- Larger groups score exponentially more points (n squared)
- The game ends after 60 seconds - score as high as you can
Tips and Strategy
- Focus on creating large groups - the n-squared scoring means a 6-block group (36 pts) beats six individual pairs (24 pts)
- Watch how gravity shifts blocks after each crush - plan two or three moves ahead to set up chain reactions
- Clear isolated colours early to consolidate the board into fewer, larger colour sections
- Keep an eye on the timer - with 10 seconds left, start crushing everything rather than holding out for perfect combos
Scoring
Every group you crush scores n-squared points, where n is the number of blocks in the group. A pair scores 4, a trio scores 9, a group of 5 scores 25, and a massive 10-block group scores 100. This exponential curve is the core of the strategy - always aim for the biggest group possible before tapping.
