Memory Match - Complete Game Guide

Memory Match is a brain-training card game that tests your short-term memory and concentration. Sixteen cards are laid face-down in a 4x4 grid, hiding 8 matching pairs of emojis. Flip two cards at a time and try to remember where each symbol is located. The goal is to find every pair in as few moves as possible, making this a rare game where a lower score is actually better.

How to Play

Tap any card to flip it and reveal the emoji underneath. Then tap a second card. If both cards show the same emoji, you found a match and they stay face up. If the emojis differ, both cards flip back face-down after a short pause.

Tips and Strategy

Pro tip: On your first few turns, deliberately flip cards in different corners of the grid. Even if they do not match, you are building a mental map of card positions that pays off in later turns.

Scoring

Your score is the total number of moves (card flips counted in pairs) it takes to find all 8 matching pairs. Unlike most games, a lower score is better in Memory Match. A perfect game would be 8 moves, meaning you matched every pair on the first attempt. Scores under 12 moves are considered excellent.

In Memory Match, a lower score is better since the game counts your total moves. Memorise the position of cards you have already flipped. Use a systematic approach - scan row by row and build a mental map of what is where.
