Memory Match - Complete Game Guide
Memory Match is a brain-training card game that tests your short-term memory and concentration. Sixteen cards are laid face-down in a 4x4 grid, hiding 8 matching pairs of emojis. Flip two cards at a time and try to remember where each symbol is located. The goal is to find every pair in as few moves as possible, making this a rare game where a lower score is actually better.
How to Play
Tap any card to flip it and reveal the emoji underneath. Then tap a second card. If both cards show the same emoji, you found a match and they stay face up. If the emojis differ, both cards flip back face-down after a short pause.
- Tap a face-down card to flip it and reveal the emoji
- Tap a second card to check if it matches the first
- Matching pairs stay face up permanently
- Find all 8 pairs to complete the game - your move count is your score
Tips and Strategy
- Always pay attention when cards flip back - remembering mismatches is just as valuable as finding matches
- Work systematically through the grid rather than flipping cards at random
- If you remember where a card's match is, go for it immediately rather than risking the memory fading
- Keep a calm, patient pace - rushing leads to missed information and wasted moves
Scoring
Your score is the total number of moves (card flips counted in pairs) it takes to find all 8 matching pairs. Unlike most games, a lower score is better in Memory Match. A perfect game would be 8 moves, meaning you matched every pair on the first attempt. Scores under 12 moves are considered excellent.
